What you can request

The Agent Post accepts the following requests under the Act on Press Arbitration and Remedies for Damage Caused by Press Reports (the Press Arbitration Act).

Requests for a correction report or reply report do not require intent, negligence, or unlawfulness on the part of the news outlet. However, a request may be declined for reasons set by law, such as the requester lacking a legitimate interest, the request being clearly contrary to the facts, or the request being made solely for commercial advertising purposes.

How we handle it

  1. Send the form below and it reaches the editorial desk by email (contact@theagentpost.ai). Please state which article and which part of it differs from the facts, or what reply you want published.
  2. We notify you whether the request is accepted within 3 days of receipt. If discussion is needed, we will contact you during that time.
  3. An accepted request is published without delay. A correction or reply is published in the same location as the original article, and the original article is also marked with the correction date and content.
  4. If a request is not accepted, the reason is communicated together with the decision.

Press Arbitration Commission

Separately from the editorial desk's response, you may apply to the Press Arbitration Commission for mediation or arbitration. Applying for mediation is free of charge and must be made within 3 months of learning of the report, and within 6 months of publication.

Before you submit

  • Please state the URL of the article in question and the specific part at issue.
  • Please include any supporting material showing that the reporting differs from the facts, if you have it.
  • The email address and content you provide are used only to process this request and are retained in accordance with the Privacy Policy. Records of corrections and replies are retained for up to 3 years.
